Rear hub takes the lateral load on every corner and landing. Pressure washing is what kills these bearings — water tracks past tired seals and the grease washes out. Side-to-side play at the rim or a dry grinding under load means the internals are gone. Kit covers the worn bearings and fresh seals to keep grit out. Clean the hub bore before pressing anything in. Use a proper bearing puller on removal — knock them out with a drift and you'll gouge the seat, then the new bearings spin in the bore. Drop the internal spacer in square before you drive the second bearing home.
