Hub internals that let the wheel spin true on the axle. Sand, mud and pressure-washer jets kill them. Once a seal goes, grit gets into the races and you feel it as lateral play or a notchy roll when you spin the wheel off the stand. This kit puts that right. Fitting note: never hit the inner race. Drive on the outer with a proper bearing driver or a socket sized to the outer diameter. Clean the hub bore, light smear of grease, press the new units square until they bottom out.
