These bearings sit inside the hub and let the wheel spin on the axle. Dirt, sand and pressure washers kill them. Once the seals go, grit gets into the races — you feel it as lateral play at the rim or a notchy steering feel up front. This kit swaps the lot. Drive on the outer race only, never the inner, or the bearing's scrap before it's seated. Use a proper bearing driver or a socket sized to the outer diameter. Clean the hub bore, light smear of grease, press home square.
