This kit replaces the critical link in your bottom-end. It connects the piston to the crank and endures massive reciprocating loads. Replace this when you feel vertical play in the big-end or during a major engine overhaul. The kit provides the rod, big-end bearing, crank pin, and washers. You will need a hydraulic press and a truing stand to install this correctly. Ensure the oil holes are clear and the crank is perfectly balanced before final assembly. Check all clearances against your workshop manual before closing the cases.
