What it is

The HOT RODS SEAL OUTPUT SHAFT, gaskets & seals. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This output shaft seal provides the necessary oil barrier for your gearbox. It sits in the engine casing where the countershaft exits to meet the front sprocket. Over time, the rubber hardens and loses its ability to seal against the spinning shaft. Replacing this seal is a preventative measure during sprocket changes or a necessary fix if leaks appear. It is manufactured to precise tolerances to ensure a secure fit in the casing. Use a seal driver to press it in evenly. This part is essential for keeping your bike oil-tight and the workshop floor clean.
