§ 02 / About this part
What it is
The MITAS TEFOMXMH RG 90/100-14 49M NHS, mx tyres. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
Run this on a small-wheel 85 when the track turns blue-groove and the ruts go glassy. The green-stripe Terra Force compound stays sharp on baked clay, shale-flecked straights and stony fire-road sections where a softer knob would fold and tear. Brake hard into a rutted corner and the carcass holds shape, so the bike tracks where you point it instead of skating sideways. Fit a mousse if you're racing through summer rounds. Check rim tape and torque the rim lock before you bed it in. Bin it once the leading edges round off or you spot heat-cycle glazing.
