What it is

Ohlins' STX22 is a complete drop-in cartridge for the open-chamber forks on KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas 85s, covering both small-wheel (17/14) and big-wheel (19/16) chassis. Replaces the stock damper rod with a sealed, pressurised twin-tube cartridge. That kills cavitation on repeat hits and gives the 85 a proper compression and rebound clicker at each leg. Fits SX 85, TC 85 and MC 85. The result is a feel closer to a senior-class fork: better small-bump compliance, less harshness deep in the stroke, and a usable mid-stroke for a kid who's started clearing tabletops. Worth a setup session with a suspension tuner once it's in.
