What it is

OXA's aluminium subframe is a direct replacement for the GAS GAS EC two-stroke and four-stroke chassis, covering EC 250, EC 300 and the Ranger E4 variants. It carries the seat, airbox, rear fender and tail loop loads. Heavy case-out landings and the classic enduro loop-out are what kill the original casting — once it twists, your airbox stops sealing and the seat sits crooked. The OXA unit keeps the factory mounting geometry, so bolt-up to the main frame, seat hinge and shock top is direct. Inspect your shock top mount and frame nodes for cracks before fitting. Reuse OEM hardware, blue thread lock on the subframe bolts.
