This internal wear pad is the primary contact point for your chain. It sits inside the performance guide shell at the rear of the swingarm. Grit and mud act as an abrasive, eventually wearing a deep groove into the plastic. Replacing just the pad is a cost-effective way to maintain your drive train. It slides into the existing outer shell and secures with the main mounting bolts. Check this part every few rides for excessive thinning. Keeping a fresh pad reduces chain drag and prevents derailment.
