What it is
The PRO BOLT TOP YOKE NUT M24X1.50 SL, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
M24x1.50 thread, so check the stem before ordering — this is the larger Suzuki/Kawasaki/Honda big-bike size, not the M22 you'll find on most KTM and Yamaha steerers. Sits on top of the upper triple, clamping the stem and setting bearing preload on the head races. Wind it down to spec with a torque wrench; over-tight and the steering goes notchy, under-tight and the front end vagues out under braking. Replaces tired OEM hardware on GSX-R, Hayabusa, Bandit, SV and the DR-Z 400 SM steerer. Anodised silver finish for tools that aren't gentle.
