What it is

The PRO CIRCUIT CLUTCH SPRINGS, clutch. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Stiffer springs provide increased clamping pressure on the clutch pack. This prevents slipping when the engine is under high load or during aggressive starts. Over time, standard springs heat-cycle and lose their tension, causing the clutch to fade mid-race. These are a direct replacement for your OEM springs. They offer a firmer lever pull but ensure every bit of power reaches the gearbox. Check your clutch plates for wear while the cover is off. If the plates are glazed or the steels are blued, new springs alone will not fix the slip.
