This expansion chamber is hand-welded and left in a raw, unplated finish. It improves mid-to-top end power for your two-stroke. Because it lacks plating, you must spray it with a light oil after washing to prevent surface oxidation. It sits exposed at the front of the frame and is prone to denting during hard enduro or heavy roost. Replace your pipe when deep creases restrict exhaust gas flow and kill your top-end. Use new O-rings and springs at the manifold to ensure a leak-free seal during the rebuild.
