On the YZ 80 and 85 small-bore class — the kid racer's first proper bike — front bearings cop a beating: braking loads, hard landings off doubles, and grit washed in from wet practice days. Once they start notching, the wheel develops play, the disc wobbles past the pads, and steering goes light at the worst possible moment. Press the old ones out, tap these in with seals fitted square, pack with marine grease, done in an hour.
