This machined unit replaces the standard cast housing to improve engagement consistency. It is positioned within the transmission case and holds the plate stack. If your lever feels notched or the bike drags in gear, the fingers are likely worn. This alloy version provides a harder surface to prevent plate tabs from digging in. You must move your original primary gear to this assembly. It is a direct fit for the 125. Always use fresh oil after installation to ensure the new surfaces are properly lubricated from the first start.
