This component houses the plate pack within your transmission. Factory units are often cast and develop notches on the fingers over time. These grooves cause the plates to snag, resulting in drag and poor engagement. This machined alloy version resists that wear. You must transfer your original primary gear to this unit during the rebuild. It matches OEM reference 1C3-16150-00 for a precise fit. Use new fasteners and thread lock when securing the gear. Hard anodising extends service life under heavy race conditions.
