§ 02 / About this part
What it is
ProX replacement clutch cable to fit the Honda CRF250R, model years 2008–2009.
Built for the Honda CRF 250 R, this cable carries lever input to the actuator arm on the engine casing. Race starts and tight enduro work load the clutch repeatedly, and a worn inner wire turns that into a heavy pull with an inconsistent bite. ProX match OEM length and stroke so the adjuster has room either side of centre. Replace it at the first sign of fraying at the barrel or a stretched feel. Route it along the standard frame path, keep clear of the header, and check for binding at full lock before final adjustment.
