ProX clutch cable to fit Kawasaki KLX400R (2003); Kawasaki KLX400SR (2003); Suzuki DR-Z400 (2000–2005); Suzuki DR-Z400E (2000–2007); Suzuki DR-Z400S (2005–2024); Suzuki DR-Z400SM (2005–2017).
A direct-replacement clutch cable cut to the original length and stroke for the DR-Z 400 and KLX 400 platform across Suzuki and Kawasaki. Inner strands fray and the housing packs with grit, so the pull goes heavy and engagement turns vague at the bite point. This swaps that out for stock feel. Route it clear of the header and check it pulls clean through full steering lock before you set the free play at the perch. ProX builds to factory spec, so the lever action comes back exactly as the bike left the crate.
