What it is

ProX replacement clutch cable to fit the Yamaha YZ250F, model years 2014–2018, and Yamaha YZ450F, model years 2014–2017.

This cable carries lever input to the clutch actuator arm on the cases. Grit and heat cycles fray the inner strands and crush the outer housing over time, and a notchy pull or inconsistent bite is the usual sign it's spent. The ProX unit matches OEM length and terminal fittings for the Yamaha YZ 250 F and YZ 450 F, a direct swap. Follow the factory routing through the frame so nothing binds at full lock or melts against the header. Set your free-play at the perch once the engine is up to temperature.
