What it is

The PROX CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER REBUILD KIT, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Clutch drag on a hydraulic system points straight at the master cylinder. Heat cycles the rubber cups until they leak past, the lever softens and the plates drag at idle. This kit refreshes the piston, spring and seals inside the cylinder to bring back a firm pull. Covers the KTM SX-F and SMR plus the Husqvarna FC 250 and 350 listed for this fitment. Check the bore for wear before assembly and replace the cylinder if it is scored. Use only the fluid grade marked on the cap, then bleed until the lever firms up.
