What it is

The PROX CLUTCH PLATE FRICTION SET, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

These friction plates restore drive when your clutch starts to slip under load. They sit between the steel plates inside the basket and transfer power from the crank to the gearbox. Heat and friction eventually wear the material down or glaze the surface. This set matches OEM dimensions for a drop-in fitment. Always soak new friction plates in fresh gearbox oil for at least two hours before installation. This prevents burning the material on the first start-up. Check your basket for grooving while the side cover is off. Proper stack height is critical for correct lever feel.
