Friction plates are the primary wear item in your clutch assembly. Over time, the material wears thin or becomes glazed from excessive heat, leading to power loss at the rear tyre. These plates use materials designed to handle the abuse of hard enduro or MX starts. Before installation, soak the new plates in fresh engine or gearbox oil for at least two hours. This prevents burning the material on the first start-up. Fitment is specific to your bike model to ensure correct stack height and basket engagement.
