Refresh your clutch engagement with a dedicated set of friction plates. These plates sit between the steel drive plates in your clutch basket and provide the grip needed to transmit power to the gearbox. Constant slipping and heat eventually wear down the friction material, leading to a soft lever and loss of drive. These are manufactured to exact OEM dimensions for a drop-in fit. Always measure your existing steel plates for flatness before reassembling the stack. Soak these new frictions in fresh oil for at least two hours to prevent premature wear during the first heat cycle.
