This pressure plate sits at the end of your clutch stack to provide even clamping force. Heat cycles and heavy use eventually warp the cast surface or wear the contact face. This leads to uneven engagement and clutch drag. It is a direct OEM replacement for your CR250 rebuild. Ensure the spring pillars are seated correctly during assembly. Check your inner hub for notches while the basket is open. Proper torque on the spring bolts is essential to prevent snapping a pillar during the install. Clean all mating surfaces before closing the side case.
