Your YZF250 relies on a tight countershaft seal to keep engine oil inside the transmission. This kit replaces the seal and associated O-rings at the drive sprocket interface. The output shaft area is prone to leaks due to the abrasive nature of dirt-bike environments. Grit gets trapped behind the sprocket and grinds away at the seal lip. This kit provides a technical solution that meets OEM standards. Fit this when you notice oil misting around the front sprocket. It is a straightforward job that prevents low oil levels and potential engine damage during your next race.
