What it is

The PROX COUNTERSHAFT SEAL KIT, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This kit provides everything needed to stop oil leaks behind the front sprocket. It contains the oil seal, O-ring, and the hardened bush that sits on the output shaft. Constant exposure to chain grime and pressure from the drive system eventually scores the bush and degrades the seal. A failing countershaft seal can lead to rapid oil loss and potential gearbox failure. This is a direct replacement for the factory components. Clean the countershaft thoroughly before sliding the new bush into place to ensure a proper seat.
