What it is

ProX steel exhaust valve to fit Honda FMX650 (2005–2007); Honda FX650 (1999–2000); Honda GB500 (1989–1990); Honda NX500 (1988–1999); Honda NX650 (1988–2000); Honda SLR650 (1997–1998); Honda XBR500 (1985–1988); Honda XR600R (1993–2000); Honda XR650L (1993–2009, 2012–2021, 2023–2024).

Located in the cylinder head, this valve manages the exit of combustion gases. It is a direct replacement for OEM part 14711-MG3-000. Over time, heat cycles and high RPM cause the face to cup or the stem to stretch. Replacing worn valves is critical during a top-end rebuild to maintain compression. Check your valve seats for wear before installation. New seals are essential when fitting this part to your bike. It offers a durable alternative to titanium for riders prioritising longevity in harsh enduro or MX conditions. Proper clearance is vital for performance.
