What it is

A steel intake valve designed for longevity, this part cross-references with OEM 5HO-12111-00. It is located in the intake side of the cylinder head. Steel is more resistant to the cupping and stretching often seen with titanium valves in high-hour engines. This makes it an excellent choice for trail and enduro bikes. Because steel is heavier than titanium, you must confirm your spring tension is sufficient to prevent valve float at high RPM. Lap the valve into the seat during installation to ensure your bike has a gas-tight seal for maximum power.
