What it is

The PROX FRICTION PLATE SET, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

These friction plates are the primary wear item in your clutch assembly. They sit between the steel drive plates and provide the grip needed to transfer power. Replace them when the friction material wears thin or if you experience slipping at high revs. For the best service life, soak these plates in fresh engine oil for at least four hours before fitting. This prevents burning the material on the first start-up. These are designed to meet or exceed the performance of your original factory components.
