What it is

The PROX FRICTN ST BETA RR250/300, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

These plates restore drive and stop slipping under load on your Beta RR. They sit between the steel plates in your clutch basket to transmit power from the crank to the gearbox. Friction material wears down with use, leading to a soft lever and lost drive. Always check your steel plates for warping or blueing when replacing these. If the steels are discoloured, consider a full stack replacement to maintain the correct height. Soak new plates in gearbox oil for at least two hours before fitting to ensure long service life.
