§ 02 / About this part
What it is
ProX top-end gasket kit to fit the KTM SX 85 17/14, model years 2003–2012, and KTM SX 85 19/16, model years 2003–2012.
When you pull the cylinder for a fresh piston, a reliable seal is required. This set provides the necessary components for the cylinder head, base, and intake. Positioned at the top-end, these parts maintain vital compression and prevent coolant migration into the bore. Never reuse old seals during a rebuild. These are manufactured to OEM dimensions for exact fitment on your bike. Scrape mating surfaces completely clean to ensure a flush seal. This is essential for every scheduled piston change or top-end inspection to prevent pressure loss and fluid leaks.
