The inner hub sits at the heart of your clutch assembly. It provides the splined surface for your drive plates. Over time, these splines develop notches from constant torque loads. Notched splines prevent the plates from sliding freely. This leads to clutch drag and difficulty finding neutral. This component is a direct replacement for the stock unit. Ensure your thrust washer is in good condition before installation. Torque the centre nut to factory specifications to avoid binding. It is a critical part of any top-tier transmission rebuild.
