This titanium intake valve is a direct replacement for your worn top-end internals. It sits in the cylinder head and regulates the intake charge at high RPM. Titanium construction reduces reciprocating mass, allowing the engine to rev more freely without valve float. These are consumable parts that require replacement once the factory coating wears down and clearances tighten. Always have your valve seats professionally cut before fitting new titanium components. Do not use lapping paste as it ruins the specialized surface treatment.
