What it is

The PROX PISTON KIT ALUMINUM 44.47MM C, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This C-size kit is designed for cylinders with slight wear, offering a tighter fit than A or B alternatives. It replaces OEM part 13001-1630 in your top-end assembly. As the cylinder bore increases through use, moving to a C-sized piston restores the correct clearance. This prevents piston slap and maintains stable compression. Verify your bore diameter with a dial bore gauge before fitting. Lubricate the wrist pin and rings with assembly oil. Ensure the circlips are seated with the gaps facing down to prevent them from dislodging.
