This D-size kit is the largest standard increment for cylinders with significant runtime. It replaces OEM part 13001-1630, compensating for bore wear to maintain optimal tolerances. Sitting in the top-end, it ensures the engine remains efficient and powerful. Using a D-size piston is a common workshop fix to extend cylinder life before a re-plate is required. Check the ring end gap and ensure the piston moves freely in the bore. Always install the wrist pin clips with the open ends facing away from the removal groove.
