What it is

The PROX PISTON KIT ALUMINUM 95.96MM A, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Standard A-size at 95.96mm, replacing Honda 13101-MEN-730 on the CRF 450 R and CRF 450 X. Use it where the bore still mics up within factory spec. Four-stroke pistons fail quietly: ring grooves open up, compression bleeds away, oil consumption creeps. A fresh piston brings back the hit off the bottom. Piston, rings, pin and circlips supplied. Clean the machining oil from the ring grooves, gap the rings in your bore and oil the pin before assembly. Sensible insurance on an engine that works this hard.
