It serves as an alternative to OEM part 13101-MN1-680 for engines requiring a second-stage overbore. The kit sits in the top-end and restores the primary compression lost to wear. Ensure your machinist has the piston in hand to achieve the correct clearance. Check ring end gaps carefully to prevent binding at operating temperatures.
