What it is

The PROX PISTON KIT FORGED 76.78MM B, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

The B-size partner to ProX's CRF 250 R kit: 76.78mm, a hundredth up on the A piston, for a bore at the top of its wear tolerance. Same Honda cross-reference, 13101-KRN-A40, so fitment is straightforward. Put a dial bore gauge down the cylinder first; the letter you need is decided by measurement, not mileage. Forged crown and skirt take a 250F's revs without complaint. Rings, pin and circlips are supplied. New rings on a measured bore bring the seal back, and compression with it.
