This B-size piston kit is designed for cylinders that have moved past their initial service life. The slightly increased diameter accounts for microscopic wear on the cylinder walls, maintaining the oil film and compression seal. It is a direct replacement that fits the existing bore once measured and verified. Regular top-end swaps are cheaper than a full engine rebuild following a piston failure. The kit includes the piston, rings, pin, and circlips. Always clean the ring grooves and check for any burrs on the cylinder ports before sliding the assembly home.
