This C-sized kit is for engines with more hours on the cylinder. It sits in the top-end to restore the factory-specified clearance in a worn bore. Regular top-end maintenance is vital for the YZF450 to avoid expensive crankcase damage. This kit includes the piston, rings, pin, and clips. Measure your bore with a dial bore gauge to confirm a C-size is required. Lubricate the pin and rings with assembly lube before sliding the cylinder over. Always fit new circlips with the gap facing down.
