This assembly restores the integrity of your rear suspension unit. It sits at the base of the damper body. It contains the oil and nitrogen charge while the shaft moves through its stroke. Dirt and heat eventually degrade the internal seals. This leads to fluid leaks and a loss of damping control. This unit replaces the entire assembly for a faster rebuild. It matches OEM specifications for a precise fit. Ensure the shaft is free from burrs or pitting before installation. Use a dedicated seal bullet to slide the assembly over the threads.
