Constant high-RPM use and heat cycles eventually degrade the internal components. When stripping the pump, pay close attention to the condition of the impeller shaft. Any visible scoring will prevent the new seals from seating correctly. These components are built to OEM standards for a precise fit. Clean the assembly area meticulously to ensure the cooling circuit remains pressurized and free of leaks during the race.
