It matches the original length and pull for a drop-in fit, restoring the crisp grip feel a worn cable loses. Inner wires stretch and fret internally over time, which shows up as a heavy or vague twist grip and a lazy close. Run the line away from moving parts and hot engine surfaces, then set free-play at the bars so the throttle shuts fully when you let go.
