What it is

The PROX THROTTLE CABLE YZ65, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

A direct-replacement throttle cable for the Yamaha YZ65 two-stroke. It runs from the twistgrip to the carburettor slide, and as the inner liner wears the action stiffens and the slide drags on the return. On a small bike a sticky throttle is the last thing a young rider needs. ProX cuts it to OEM length with the right barrel ends, a clean swap for the worn original. Route it behind the number plate and under the tank so nothing pinches it on full lock. Trim the free play at the bar so the slide snaps shut.
