These 10.00mm shims are used to adjust the valve lash in your top-end. They sit within the valve train assembly to maintain the correct gap for thermal expansion. This refill kit includes five 2.90mm shims. Regular clearance checks are a mandatory part of four-stroke maintenance. Using these precision-ground shims allows for exact tuning of your engine timing and lift. Incorrect shimming leads to poor starting and potential engine damage. These are a direct fit for bikes using the 10mm shim system. Ensure your feeler gauges are accurate before installation.
