What it is
The SHOWA DUST SEAL 49MM, fork seals. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
Replace this when fork action goes vague or the legs start weeping oil after a heavy session. Sits in the top of the fork tube, wipes mud and grit off the stanchion so the oil seal underneath has half a chance of lasting the season. One dust seal in the box, not a pair, so order two if you're doing both legs at the same time. Fits the current Honda CRF 250R, 250RX, 450R and 450RWE. Worth swapping any time the lower legs come off.
