Sits deep inside the Showa cartridge on your CRF 250 R, 250 RX, 450 L or 450 R, holding the damping stack in place under every g-out and braking bump. Fit it once, fit it right. Hit it with the correct holder and a torque wrench, follow the Showa spec, and walk away. Get clever with adjustables or an impact gun and you'll round the flats, gall the threads, or worse — back it off mid-moto and the cartridge unloads. Cheap insurance against a long Sunday in the pits with a stripped fork leg and no front damping.
