Pop a fork seal out and this is the bit half of riders forget exists. The D61 snap-ring sits in the groove above the seal and holds the whole stack in place against bump pressure. Drop it, kink it, or reuse a tired one and you'll be chasing oil down your lower leg by the third moto. Fits Showa forks on the listed CRF 250 R, CRF 450 R, CRF 450 L and CRF 450 RWE. Fresh ring every seal job. Cheap insurance against a wet boot at the start gate.
