The medium pad for the Thor youth shell. Cheek pads hold the helmet against the jaw, and worn foam lets the lid move under landings and braking. A loose helmet is a slow rider. These press into the EPS recess and lock in place, a five-minute job on the bench. Run a thicker or thinner pad to dial the cheek fit to your rider's face. Keep them clean. Sweat salt eats foam and fabric, and a degraded pad fits no better than a worn one.
