The Splat Black peak returns a youth Fleet to spec after a heavy session has chewed or snapped the original. It fits the existing mount points with the hardware in the box, so it's a clean swap on the tailgate. Match it to the youth shell size. Set the outer screws, finish on the centre, and stop short of cranking it; the plastic cracks at the boss before the screw strips. A peak is the sacrificial part of the lid, first to wear and first to break. Carry a spare and the day keeps moving.
