What it is

Cut to follow the side-panel and subframe lines on the YZ 250F and 450F. Its job is to keep mud off the underside of the bodywork, where slung soil builds up out of sight and quietly loads the rear of the bike. Less packed mud means the handling you set in the pits is the handling you keep at the end of a moto. Fix it with contact adhesive. Treat it as a wear item: when it soaks through or starts to break down, replace it. A small detail that earns its place on a wet round.
